Inspection Score
A 0 to 100 weighted result showing how much of the observable signal set a page actually carries.
What it means
Every check carries a weight reflecting how much damage its absence does. A page blocked by a noindex directive loses more than a page missing a viewport tag, because one of those removes the page from consideration entirely and the other makes it awkward on a phone.
The score is earned weight over available weight. Passes earn full weight, quick fixes and structural findings earn none, and investigate findings earn half.
The part a short definition leaves out
The score is a summary of observable markup and configuration. It is not a ranking prediction, a traffic forecast, or a promise that anything will cite you. A page can score 96 and still be about a subject nobody searches for.
See whether this is costing you anything
The inspection reports on this signal directly, alongside thirty-seven others, and tells you whether it is a quick fix on your site or something deeper.
